Especially regarding the CW - that is a lie. Good luck rehabbing your image. Revisionist history - there is no good way to put a positive spin on it. Leaving with players, coaches and trying to steal more - real classy move.
As many have already stated, there is a classy way to leave, and then there is JS and GAG.

That interview did really nothing to endear CJS to me. If anything, I think it made me feel worse.

He didn't ask him the 2 questions I would have asked 1. When did you authorize your agent to negotiate with MSU (I'm pretty sure it was in September, because that is when news stopped flowing out of MSU, indicating they had their guy) 2. Why did you 'seemingly' heavily recruit your former players at OSU after you had left to MSU? I mean if you will 'always care and root for OSU' why would you rape and pillage the roster? Tell those kids to leave the portal and get back to work for Coach Bray! hahahaha Not that you would ever get a straight answer on either one of them (and recuiting before they enter the transfer portal is a no-no wink-wink) |

Meh. I don't hate Smith for what he did. Very unhappy with how it all went down.
However, I really like Bray and his guys and I'm not convinced that they are really much of a downgrade, if at all. Maybe an upgrade in some spots.

Meh. I don't hate Smith for what he did. Very unhappy with how it all went down. However, I really like Bray and his guys and I'm not convinced that they are really much of a downgrade, if at all. Maybe an upgrade in some spots. I like Bray as well. As far as a downgrade/ upgrade goes, we should know a lot more about that in about 90 days. |

Good luck msu you will need it. The fake punt against Hawai'i in 2019 was also horrendous. The call cost Oregon State a bowl game, maybe against Boston College in the 2020 Birmingham Bowl? Two of the worst calls in Oregon State history. |

Bill Oram from the O also interviewed Smith. I didn't bother to read Canzano; one interview was enough.
Sounds like the Tour of the Apologist. I don't have the red rage against Smith that a lot of people have. He is the QB that took us to our best season since the 60s and developed a solid program after the relapse back to 1982 under Andersen. He delivered a good program to Bray.
But the interview with Oram didn't help my opinion of Smith, at all. Sounds like the interview with Canzano went the same way.

Johnny boy is like the person whose spouse had a traumatic injury looking at a few years to rehab. Instead of sticking around and helping the spouse through the rehab decides to leave the spouse and check out the chick across the street.
