Mostly looking at this game to either verify....or "Opps - not yet!" re: the progress vs. UCLA.
Honestly (from a fan's perspective) a loss by less than 10 would be welcome. AZ smarting from their last game v. Stanford (sorta like the Beavs after the USC stinker). I'd expect the players will take nothing less than a win.
More realistic opportunity to progress will be 2 days hence v. ASU.
1st hoop by Mannen was very nice !!!

Don't really care if Mit or Beers start, but it's obvious to me that the Beavers are better off when Beers is on the floor.
Beers is way more solid in bringing the ball down on rebounds and moves better in general. Not to mention her offensive game has been way more consistent (even thought she blew a couple gimmes early on in this one and looked like she was fouled on one)...
Yeaney also needs to stay in the game as much as possible...the Beavers absolutely play at a quicker pace and she can beat defenders off the dribble.
And yeah, great start by Marotte. Hope she keeps it going.
