I loved the twin tower line up too. But when they changed personnel to start pressing, we probably should have changed our line up also. Scott never called a TO to adjust and we kept trying to foolishly dribble out of trouble….and it didn’t work at all

Heartbreaker. But one hell of a ballgame.
Got to give the cats some credit. They hit some huge shots when they had to.
Raegan played a great game but missed at least 3 point blank opportunities earlier. Those 6 points would have been helpful down the stretch.

Arizona has a bunch of good ballhandlers and passers. The Beavers have one that matches up -- Yeaney (who played there).
Rueck's inability to recruit true points blows up in his face once again.
Too bad, because they played well enough to win and actually played better for most of the game.

The team does know that when up by 12 with three or so minutes left they don't have to shoot within 15 seconds don't they?

Terrible game plan with an eight point lead at 2 minutes left. No four corner stall. They didn't win it we gave it away. But as a team we did everything right to win. Coach just let our players fire up shots without concern that the clock could bring them back into the game.  Congrats girls you won that game! |

I can't blame it all on the coach so maybe 90%. Call a damn timeout and settle the team down.
