Haven't updated in awhile.
Love Forde of Nelson off to a great start to her freshman year as is Payton Starwalt from Crescent Valley (although team is struggling a bit).

Wow!---Payton Starwalt a freshman from Crescent Valley HS in Corvallis showing signs of being the next Caitlin Clark!---Would be nice to see her grow a few inches but I'd still take her even if she stays at 5'6"!

Her family keeps me updated on stuff. She's got a couple of West Coast Big Ten and ACC teams on her and the Portland schools as well as most of the West Coast mid majors. She'd love to be a Beaver from the sounds of it but plans to go where she is most wanted and where their system fits her style. |

Well I hope the Beavers make her a priority and make her feel "most" wanted! They should assign Aleah to her recruitment right now to make sure that her supposed wish to be a Beaver becomes a reality!

If you scroll back to page 4 on this thread, you can find a video of more than 3's. Judging by stats, she's probably more scorer than passer on her high school team 20 points and less than 4 assists per game. But she can definitely distribute the ball around. |

Looks like it’s going to be the week of the girls transferring finding their landing spot. But the future is bright, Coach Rueck can recruit & coach and he’s a feisty dude that will come out guns blazing, guaranteed!

Headed to West Albany for the rest of her high school career. Interesting that it is a linear transfer---both schools compete at the 5A level. You would think she might want the challenge of facing 6A competition to further her development as a D1 prospect, but there are no 6A schools in Corvallis or Albany. She would have to commute to Salem or Eugene for that opportunity. Maybe West Albany has better championship prospects upcoming and or better coaching than CV ? |

Especially since WA was a middle of the pack conference team and half the roster were Srs. Maybe Stinson is recruiting more players?? I wonder if he'll allow "dad" to an assistant as CV did? Plus Silverton (state champ), SA (3rd), Corvallis (final 8) all "supposedly" have better rosters returning. |
