Beavs interested in 2027 Heaven Bailey from Montgomery Alabama. Watched a little film on her. She's good for 13 years old.

Interesting that Heaven Bailey (Alabama) and Payton Rollins (Tennessee) are invited out this weekend. I don't know much about the "basketball for the elite" event at Oregon State, but they must send out these invites to players across the country. I'm surprised a middle schooler from Knoxville Tennessee would make the trip out here.
Now I'm really curious to see how many players show up this weekend, and I would encourage Beaver fans to attend the games and leave these young players with a good impression of Oregon State women's basketball and the fans who support the program.

beaverwbb, do you have any info on the "Elite Invite weekend"? I see they are calling Friday night 'Girls in Sports night'. I'm hoping many fans attend, and of course many prospects too. It still seems hard for me to believe that girls, in middle school, would travel across country to be at this event, but it is pretty cool that some are coming....and from a long distance.

I didn't catch all the players that made it this weekend, but here's the one's I know showed up: Dasia Scott St Louis MO Kourtney Wriths Bixby Oklahoma Kayli Kellogg Nacogdoches, Texas Elizabeth Pittman Prosper, Texas Trinity Boone Edmond Oklahoma Paytow Starwalt--Cresent Valley Oregon Payton Rolling---Tennessee
All indications were that the girls loved the trip and enjoyed Oregon State. Too bad the team lost the games. Eric Ely deserves a ton of credit for his role in this event. Hopefully this will help spread positivity around the Oregon State program.

This is a plus for Rueck he is where he needs to be if he wants to compete at a high level. He needs one or two of these players. To bad this is a dog eat dog business.

I’m proud of Rueck he IS trying to compete at the highest level! I'm behind the times here with this post - but I have a question about the "Elite Invite" event that happened a few months ago...... Does OSU foot the travel expenses for the players who make this trip? They are not even in high school as yet. Right? Anyway, I'm just curious about the economics of the deal - and if OSU is indeed, covering expenses it feels like they are looking at quite the tab. Does anyone know the deal on this? Thanks. GO BEAVS!!
