I am 99% sure that an "Elite Invite" is NOT Oregon State's responsibility. Maybe a lunch or two....?? The responsibility of travel belongs to the parents.

Your response puts an interesting spin on these visits to far away Corvallis -- if the family is footing the bill.
That's totally different than OSU footing the bill....
This shows to me that OSU is a national destination and, in the eyes of parents with kids who play, a national program.
The parents obviously know their kids are in-demand and that they will have numerous scholarship options available....
So for them to pick up the tab for a trip to Corvallis is a very encouraging sign for the Beavs and their WBB future....

I would like to see us offer Payton early on. Her stock should continue to rise and it sounds like she’s pretty set on the Beavs right now.

Interesting article. The kid puts up impressive shooting numbers for any pre-college age group....
Sounds like her parents have done everything right from the environmental end of things....
Now she has reached the age where we will find out what kind of genetic package is shaping her future - because 5'6 is not what we're hoping for!! 😎
Skeletal growth in the next 24 months will pretty much determine her final adult basketball measurements - especially height, arm length and foot size....
For the impatient, calculate average percentile ranking of mother's and father's height, then make an educated guess.🎓
For the infinitely patient, wait until September 2027 and check the roster.🏀

It is a twitter post so he used her twitter handle/name. I'm not up on twitter etiquette but it seems that is the way people are referred to on it.
