Anybody got any insight on which way Van Lith is leaning?
Baylor is said to be going after her hard which scares me.
She seems like an Oregon State type of player and personality so my fingers are crossed. One thing that is against us is year #1 she would be projected behind Aleah and Destiny. Kids want playing time now. Especially someone as dedicated and highly rated as Van Lith.

In 2020-21, our only true G/W players are Slocum, Goodman, Simmons, and Goforth. Due to how well she scores, she can easily play the 1 or 2. It is probably better than she’d see at a lot of other programs.

Do many WBB players go pro after their Junior year ? Seems to me like the chances are slim as seniors - so juniors are even more risky.

You'd be beyond ecstatic if what were to occur?? Destiny go pro after her Junior season?
Assuming there is some reason to what makes you ecstatic, why don't you explain what it is.... Losing Destiny for her senior season can, in no way, be seen as good for the program....How would her leaving make you ecstatic?
Why not say what you mean to help out those of us who are not mind readers.... GO BEAVS !!

Most players aren’t eligible after their junior year, so it doesn’t happen often. Notre Dame’s Jackie Young was just a junior and went #1 this past season. Slocum was already draft eligible this season, so there is definitely a chance she may leave.

Slim chance Destiny goes pro. Two reasons...1. Have you seen the money they make in the WNBA? It's peanuts. 2. She is 5-6 maybe. Goodman played over her oftentimes at the end of games.
Would love to see Van Lith be a beav. Her bro signed a 10 day contract with the Corvallis Knights. Hope his sis joins him in Corvallis.

What does being maybe 5-6 have to do with that?

I'm surprised she is rated that high. The real money is overseas. Most teams want longer athletes who aren't going to be exploited in the post. Jmo. I still would be surprised if she leaves early...others may feel differently.

If Destiny goes pro,I'm assuming she is striking while the iron is hot,and she has her degree. She appears to love her time at osu,and financially,it doesn't make sense. The foreign teams are where the bigger money is if your o.k. with that scenario.
