This was the last word on Clark's recruiting -- per Ames Tribune
--
The USAB U19 training schedule is very hectic -- pretty much takes up the entire month of July. Starting with practices and scrimmages In Colorado Springs from July 5-10, they leave for Tokyo for a pair of scrimmages vs. Japan and trio of practices from July 13-15, and then prep in Thailand from the 17-19, where they have four practices and two scrimmages (vs. Argentina and Germany).
The U19 tournament begins on July 20 and ends on July 28. It basically takes up an entire July, which means Caitlin cannot even begin her official visits until August 2. There is also a recruiting shutdown during the 12-16, but that would not affect an OV since it is midweek.
With that hectic, demanding USA schedule, per the article, it appears Caitlin's timeline may have shifted from before schools starts to before her season starts, which is officially November 5. That gives her plenty of time to take all five official visits -- but it doesn't sound as if that is something she is set on, because I believe she has unofficially visited the five schools that appear to be her finalists.
Just my two cents on her recruitment .
"A well-rounded scorer with a devastating stepback and finishing ability, Clark is a nationally coveted prospect, currently ranked No. 4 in the class by ESPN. She said she has not narrowed her list of schools yet, but plans to make a decision before her senior season begins.
“At this point, I kind of just want to focus on playing for USA and then come home and see what I do with my official (visits), and then make a decision after that,” she told the Tribune."
