Stanford had no excavation costs, kept the former press box, built a no-frills stadium that has all the character and charm of the 9th Street Walmart. As a private entity, they don't have to say how much it cost. My guess is it cost well over what they announced. Levis Stadium was built in the same region less than seven years later. It cost $1.3 billion; since some public money was involved, you got a true accounting of the price. Obviously, it is bigger and nicer, but it still should not have cost 13 times what Stanford's cost, if Stanford released true figures. We won't be [playing any games there in the foreseeable future anyways. Stanford is still missing at least one game and can add a second. I would note that I think that Stanford is trying to add Notre Dame and vice versa to maintain their rivalry. However, I think that everyone is still trying to figure out how the ACC-Notre Dame contract works now that Cal, SMU, and Stanford are members, because the contract runs through 2037 and does not really contemplate changes in the ACC's composition. It could be that 2024 is the last year of Notre Dame-Stanford. If so, Notre Dame and Stanford each will need one more opponent. It could be that Notre Dame and Stanford will play in 2025. If so, that could mean that there will be an additional ACC team, who is looking for an opponent in 2025. Depending upon how the whole ACC-Notre Dame contract fiasco works out, Stanford may be looking to restart the rivalry with Oregon State in 2025 to replace Notre Dame as the regular season finale maybe with a 2031 return date? We'll see. I am still curious how Oregon State makes a schedule without an assist from another conference like the ACC or Big 12 or a lot of help from future Pac-12 Conference members.

You're going to the wrong European cities? Probably, the German ones have bedtimes. Italy and Spain only slept after lunch lol In Portugal, even the small cities have people out and about until late. Fatima, which only exists because of a catholic proclaimed miracle, even has night life if you know where to look.

After watching Coach Few’s halftime interview I couldn’t help but wonder how he’s able to recruit such great players. It’s certainly not his dynamic personality! Zzzzzz

He said the right stuff, it just seemed (and looked) like he just got out of bed.

More than just Catholics proclaimed it as a miracle.
