Jeff Kent’s son, 2nd baseman from Texas A&M is in the portal. Be awesome to have that red ass sitting in the stands. Kid looks like a player, one of 6 A&M players in the portal since the coach took the Texas job Will Bonds be hitting behind him? |

A lot of guys are committing from the portal but we dont seem to be in on anyone.. anyone hear any rumors about Beaver additions?

A lot of guys are committing from the portal but we don't seem to be in on anyone.. anyone hear any rumors about Beaver additions? Oregon State did not sign Aiden May until July 17th last year, six days after the 2023 draft. You may not see players signed until mid to late July. |

Beavs could return as many as 27 roster players from 2024 season. 18 recruits are scheduled to arrive this fall. I would harden that 45 number at 40-41, so if the roster number is 36 or the new number of 32, we are heavy with cuts ahead.
Don't think the Beavs will be very active in the Portal because we don't have the available scholarships and the NIL opportunities are being used extensively for current players.
Maybe we pick up 1 or 2, likely to be pitchers.

Mejia needs to improve to be one, but really would like to go into the season with 3. |

What? I think somebody did teach them the 2 strike approach. Option #1 Watch the next pitch fly by down the middle. Option #2 swing has hard a possible.

So far the anticipated "flood" into the transfer portal has been nothing more than a trickle. And a pretty insignificant one at that.
