Darn. Met his parents last summer. They were very down to earth and said Evan didn’t care where we ended up conference wise because he loved the school & coaches. Obviously he wants some playing time. Understandable.

Tanner Smith entered portal Tanner's GF is the softball pitcher who is transferring to Kentucky. So maybe that's a destination for him, they do like their transfers there (as do we here, yes I know). |

Jeff Kent’s son, 2nd baseman from Texas A&M is in the portal. Be awesome to have that red ass sitting in the stands. Kid looks like a player, one of 6 A&M players in the portal since the coach took the Texas job

The stars probably do what stars do in this situation, follow the coach. I always wonder how much of a package deal is promised by the coaches to get their salaries up when this happens? Seems weird that the stars follow their coaches solely out of love when the coach is bailing for $$$$, so I think all kinds of side deals and package deals are cut on these coach poaching situations. |
