I hope it doesn't because I was hoping that the Pac 4 could bring SMU into the fold along with UTSA, Tulsa, Tulane, and Memphis. The AAC has schools in Boca Raton, Charlotte, and Tampa. Why Tulsa? |

You know, over an eight-year period in the late 50s and 60s, you saw a real trend toward intersectional schedules. Then after those years, everyone realized that that was stupid and refocused on regional schedules. Title IX was a big part of that and the Oil Embargo behind that also helped 86 the focus on intersectional schedules and refocus teams on playing more compact schedules. Things change, often very fast. Who's to say that we won't be ahead of the game, when everything settles down?

The Monty show which predicted the day that UO and UW would join the B1G, is saying that Stanford, Cal and SMU to the ACC is a done deal (they are currently crossing Ts and dotting Is) and will probably be announced on Friday. OSU/WSU can now move full speed ahead on whatever plan they have.

It' like saying we are now a fraction of what we used to be....Well 1/3 is a fraction so is 3/1...Sort of like 'mirror image to mean 'the same', but in reality a mirror image is an opposite....Along with 'It's tied at 7 to 7'.No it's tied at 7 or is 7-7 and finally referring to time as PDT....regardless of if we ae in PST or PDT,,,Just use PT or Pacific Time Griping over... |

I do remember them saying that apparently ESPN had made an offer and walked away from the table after a ridiculous counter months ago, long before the recent story, so they probably have some decent info. |
