Irmi...My coaches, my coaches, right or wrong. Eh?? Sorry....injuries notwithstanding, there is no logic in starting Larson under these circumstances ... I don't have half of the information that the coaches have. But personally, I don't mind this decision. If the Beavs win, then we might as well keep winning, in which case we will need our best pitchers. If we lose today, it's not much of a problem. We know we are playing in a regional and while playing at home is better than traveling, we haven't been really strong enough to warrant a hosting situation. So it might be better to simply aim to rest up a bit for the regionals, which really matter. That's my take. With the limited amount of knowledge I have. Since you, also, don't have much information, why not assume that the coach is making the best decisions? Do coaches always make the best decision?? Of course not....and when we see our coaches (likely) fail to utilize our best starters before being possibly being eliminated from the tournament, it's perfectly reasonable to wonder just what these coaches are smoking.... |

You are a fan. All you want is win, win, win. It’s normal. But a coach has more to consider. Winning is what they are there for, but how do you build success? If you knew that, you’d be coaching. Adopt a more humble stance and enjoy the game and the program. |
