I am surprised judge SMALLS hasn't chimed in yet. With his rec league experience, and his youth coaching acumen he should have called this victory! You realize that UCLA was missing their best player? You realize you are nothing but a troll?

Maybe part of the reason the two bigs left is because they saw the writing on the wall, spelled Beers! Raegan is already better than Kennedy ever was.

Nice win, but you think SR is winning the league now? You realize that UCLA was missing their best player? No, the life blood of being a fan, the thing that keeps you going, is believing that your team is going to lose all of them the rest of the way, that the coaching staff stinks, and the players are just mailing it in. That's what keeps all of us going, judge, just like you. Why don't you try envisioning this? There are 2 teams this year - before Timea and after Timea. We're all hyped up that the BT team put it all together and beat a top ten team. We think that might give them a strong boost of confidence and, in 2 weeks time, when the AT team takes the floor, the second half of the season is going to be much better for us. Might not be quite up to the good old days level, but the arc will go back to moving upward. Is that a terrible thing to envision, judge? Maybe from both of you it is a perspective issue "You are only as good as your last game"

another Reagan interview, she's getting more & more media attention, but she continues to be humble and deflect to her team:

Figured this weekend would be a split, but not like this. Glad to see OSU continuing to be a problem for UCLA even in a tough year. I don’t care that they are missing their player, that is a roster loaded with athletes and we got it done.

My only complaint from the game today is that Raegan didn't get the ball ENOUGH. 8-10 from the field. 6-6 at the line. That's about as efficient as a post player can be - had too many second half possessions where she didn't touch the ball.

Nice win, but you think SR is winning the league now? You realize that UCLA was missing their best player? What I realize: - UCLA was missing their best player
- OSU was missing their highest ranked recruit in team history (?) - please correct me if that's in error
- Reagan Beers is a helluva player
What I think: - SR will NOT 'win the league'

On Reagan being a heckofa player.
As a Frosh she has 7 double doubles, no other Frosh in the country even has 5. The only Soph. with more is Aneesah Morrow at DePaul, if you know who she is. I wonder what the Frosh record is for OSU?
This is great for Reagan and the team as they need some points. But not so great for Mit, who is clearly better defensively. But the team needs those points to win games.
And on why they don't just keep feeding Reagan the ball. Because she's a Frosh who plays a very physical style of play and they don't want her to collapse on the floor in a wheezing mess. It'd be embarrassing.
So far in the Frosh pool of POY I have Latson at FSU, VanSlooten at UO, Johnson at LSU, and Rice at UCLA, and Beers. What do you guys think?

Really thought the Beavers would get more out of Yeaney as far as possibly playing the point, but she just doesn't seem to have the knack for making the right passes/plays consistently with the ball in her hands. Aaand right as I post this she makes a nice pass inside to Beers for two, ha ha Bendu was money today---We would not have won this game without her even with RB's great game. She stayed cool under pressure and showed her senior leadership.....and 15pts-7 rebounds-8 assists-only 2 TO's and you notice that we didn't have much trouble with UCLA's press today---what did we do---simply put the ball in Bendu's hands and everyone else cleared out!
