I think these refs went to the Missy Barlow Training Academy! I’m usually hesitant to criticize referring but seems like a lot of contact on both sides but most calls against the Beavs. Hollywood acting by the Bruins. |

I think these refs went to the Missy Barlow Training Academy! My biggest bone to pick in many of the games is how much contact Beers and Mit take once they get the ball down low that is often overlooked. I think players that take the ball to the hoop off drives tend to get calls (even a lot of ticky-tack ones), so TVO often benefits. I generally don't expect great officiating in these games. It seems like college women's basketball doesn't exactly draw the top officials, which is really a shame. |

Yeah, UCLA clearly not the same without Osborn, but I don't think they play defense nearly as well as USC, so that's also something that the Beavers can take advantage of today.
Beavers need to get a win here, so I personally don't care if UCLA is missing its entire starting lineup.

Great all-around effort from the team; what a difference it makes to hit some outside shots (Aaron especially); and Beers and Mit are working really hard to get open for the ball (and yes getting hacked in the paint as well). Now to keep it going for another 2 qrts, and knock off #10, would be a huge win and confidence booster for sure! Go Beavs
