Really thought the Beavers would get more out of Yeaney as far as possibly playing the point, but she just doesn't seem to have the knack for making the right passes/plays consistently with the ball in her hands.
Aaand right as I post this she makes a nice pass inside to Beers for two, ha ha

Well, Yeaney has eight assists and has played while Pietsch sits...I am still not sure about her as the point, but her ballhandling is good and she can match up defensively.
It helps to dump the ball to Beers when in doubt as well, lol

Great win!! Played really tough for the entire game, and Beers is showing just how awesome she is, and only a freshman! Can’t wait to see Timea G on the court with the team, and hopefully this is the spark of momentum for this group! Beavs!!

Nice win by the Beavers...really needed it.
Beers has become the focal point of the offense, which is huge moving forward. Hopefully TVO will thrive as well.
Yeaney seems to be the point guard for OSU now, or at least the main ballhandler, which worked well today.
Aaron continues to play well and Mannen continues to contribute.

Quality win particularly with Talia going 2-13 from the field. Beers was really
impressive. And Talia was absolutely money from the ft line when it counted.
I feel like the missing ingredient is a quality outside shooter. UCLA was deadly
with the 3 ball.

Beers is unstoppable down low. And only a Freshman...could be one of the all time greats Oh and btw why didn't Charisma Osborne play for UCLA? I didn't hear any reason from the P12 broadcast team....  I didn't hear them update it either. Great broadcast journalism there!

Great win - glad we drove down for it. No wonder UCLA athletics is bleeding money - they had TWELVE staff on that bench! Twelve staff is the way it's done in the Big 10. Some observations: In the 3 games this week, our free throw percentages have been 85.7, 88.0, and 88.9. A big part of that has been Raegan. Early on, she bricked a lot of them, but has become an excellent free throw shooter. In the 3 games this week, we outrebounded the opponent by 24, 11, and 15. This year, we've led in rebounds in 11 of the 14 games, tied once (Oregon), lost by one once (Duke), and got edged out by 21 once (LSU). This is a strength for us, unless we play LSU again. Raegan will definitely be the conference freshman of the week, and should also win nationally. She is a load! When Timea starts playing against Wazzu, we should be at worst 2-3 in conference. I like our chances to become progressively more competitive in conference going forward from there. When Timea starts playing, minutes will wind up being reshuffled. Ultimately, I expect that will translate to more minutes for Timea and fewer for Noelle. That's a good thing. Did I mention that Raegan is a load? |

They mentioned it a couple times, shoulder injury from a "football like" collision, not sure which game, U of Zero I presume. They mentioned she would get "further evaluated, xrayed, back in LA", etc. etc. |
