Let's see. In a summer league high school game, with perhaps 2 or 3 games being played simultaneously in the same gym, a summer-available ref makes a totally bad call. Sounds to me pretty much like high school summer ball as usualš.
Some news about the game itself would be interesting, though. GO BEAVS!!

Here is one of Taliaās streams. I believe she had 18 points in this one:

Thanks for sharing the video. Watched the first 6 minutes. Saw what I noticed in a previous video. Talia seems to be very slow to transition from offense to defense (and defense to offense). Don't see a lot of energy. Maybe she is pacing herself? Again, only watched first 6 minutes.

Yeah, Talia is usually the last in transition and when she has the opportunity she's resting with hands on knees. The skills are all there but she just seems to lack much energy. Sick maybe?

Listened to an interview with Talia. She had mono. No wonder her energy seemed low.

She had mono last winter, I think into the playoffs also, but she says she is better by the time of the interview I believe. I too watched her summer games and couldn't decide if she was just that smooth and made it look effortless or ? Her team and in many games, the opposing team looks sluggish too, maybe it's a NW style of play ? Maybe I just watched those games too late at night? If you watch Sasha , Savannah or Greta's games, esp. Savannah's, the pace seems so much faster. It will be interesting to watch her this year. I'm still a huge fan of her game. I hope she is good to go, is doing well these days.

Talia (and 2022 recruit Timea Gardiner) was named to the Naismith midseason watchlist, one of only 25 players:
