Thanks....Her team doesn't seem to have any height!! Might be the camera, but she looked like the tallest player in white on some of their offensive sets.... Anyway to get roster info on Talia's team....Thanks.... GO BEAVS!!

Roster is posted on the bottom of page 5.
As far as the game Talia had ~18 points. She may not have been feeling well, because she kept going in and out of the game, and would ask to be taken out (she played almost the entire game of every game in the other tournament I watched).
Her team os not the ideal team for her, because they have a lot of guards (some small), so Talia sometimes ends up as a 3/4. She is a very good interior passer and very good in the pick and roll, and her team doesn’t really have the personnel to run a lot of that.

Stream from one of Talia’s games this weekend: Talia has lots of talent. She is confident, handles the ball well, and, definitely has a knack for taking two defenders with her and finding the uncovered player. She is definitely the best player on her team. The only thing I saw that wasn't what I would expect from a future Beaver guard was she was often the last player back on defense, and, last player down the court on offense after her team had created a turnover. No doubt that will be corrected when she gets in her first full practice at OSU.

I just read a post I had not seen, and perhaps Talia wasn't feeling well. Talia did ask to be taken out of the game a couple times. Hope that was the reason for her not hustling down the court.

Thanks. That explains a lot. In many sets she started out in the low post. And her moves in the low post, in general, were ineffective. She looked several inches taller than either of the guards on her team... I agree that she does handle the ball well and passes crisply. I like that she is a player with weight and volume....Not a string bean. Not every basketball fan agrees, but I like players her size...Volume matters!!
Thanks for sharing info on her tourney....During these doldrums WBB info is hard to come by..... GO BEAVS!!
Thanks for pointing out that her team roster is found bottom of p. 5 on this thread....Yes, they are quite undersized and "over-guarded."

Watching that game of Talia's (thanks Beaverwbb) I was thinking, that player, #1 on her team, looks kinda like Destiny ! Then it hit me, well it should, it is Destiny's sister Trinity ! It's tough getting old.

She stood there like a potted palm and the ball was delivered into her hands. I imagine that official feels foolish looking at that replay.

lol, if you don't get to see the clip on Instagram, Talia's comment was "I breathed on her too hard"

One might argue that her arms were not vertical....but it looks like her hands were "all ball" and there was no other bodily contact...so it was not a foul.
