After reading the story of her recruitment and learning of the Jamie connection, I think it is really cool she has chosen honor her mentor by wearing her number. Listening to her interview she said she wants to wear 22. It really was Jamie's jersey that she was wearing. |

My guess is that the UConn lean would weigh more heavily if they had managed a title since she was in middle school. |

She sounds ready to be a point guard. I hope she gets to hone her skills this year. Talia stated that she will be working on improving her quickness and the speed at which she plays during her final high school season. Would like to see that and an improved ability from her to get low and play quality defense consistently. She has good range on her perimeter shot, but made only 32% from distance as a junior on about 6 attempts per game. Would like to see that figure closer to 38%+ so that she is more than a volume scorer offensively. Sounds like she has a well-informed opinion of what she needs to work on in order to be ready to play the point for OSU as a frosh. That appears to be her clear goal. |

Talia had 19 points (7-19 FG, 1-5 3FG, 4-4 FT), 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals in their 58-48 win today.

If I read the schedule correctly, this means The Northwest Blazers (Talia's team) defeated Next Level Eclipse Homes 58-48.
Later tonight (16th) Northwest Blazers face North Tartan 17U....
I have no info on rosters, who Talia's teammates are, etc....
