Here is film of Mitrovic’s Novosadska ZKA team from 10/6/18. Definitely worth a watch. She passes really well out of the post (she had 7 assists in her most recent game). She struggles a bit at the beginning but really gets going and becomes unstoppable. She finished with 21 points (8-14 2FG, 5-9 FT), 15 rebounds, 4 blocks, and 4 steals. Hopefully coach Tinkle was able to get some press break ideas from this clip.

I will also note (in complete jest) that in the clip Mitrovic's team does *not* win the opening tip, so we shouldn't expect improvement in that department :-).
Go Beavers!

We did win one, then went 0 for ever to start the game. I assumed that the girls were so shocked that they forgot how to shoot. If AA can play next year we should win a few, she can at least get her feet off the ground.

Apologies to rmancarl who already brought this up earlier in this thread, wasn't doubting you, just re-read it.

April 17th if I read it correctly.
It will be nice to lock her down. I have no idea how she will fit but it adds one more potential piece. This should be the tallest class in wbb 6'9", 6'6", 6'3" to go with AA at 6'9". I hope there are a couple ready to go by conference play. AA and KB would be the front runners. Trish is going to be better, she is smart and works hard so I'd expect a sophomore jump for her.

Yep, chances are we will hear something this week, but the signing period runs through May 15th, so it's possible she doesn't sign this week. Since Jelena did commit, you would expect her to sign right away though. Off subject a bit, but I just watched the Oregon State-Cal game again over the weekend. Trish scored 7 points in 7 minutes in that game, hit a beautiful turn around jumper, and was on the receiving end of several good passes. One game does not prove anything, but just from watching that game, I expect Trish will either play quality minutes as the back up center, or it wouldn't surprise me if she is the starter. There are so many bigs next season, the minutes they play, and what position they play, is the question we all have.

I re-watched the first half of the uo @ OSU game this weekend and noticed Trish in the game early and being impactful.... She had some good moves, rebounded aggressively, blocked/affected shots, ran the floor well. Very promising for her emerging as a contributor in the Fall - at the least we will be able to cycle through different players with different skill sets and keep the energy level high in the post given all the talent coming in, and likely one or more of these posts will "emerge" over time. Will be fun to speculate with no basis now :-), and with some factual inputs once Fall rolls around and the Italy trip happens. Announcers did point out a 'weakness' - passing into the big. I am sure that will get remedied this coming season. Good times. Go Beavers!

And...Oregon looks a lot more like home (Serbia). Serbia is beautiful with lots of green mountains, rivers, lakes. Very reminiscent of Oregon.
