Beavs doing it to themselves tonight and it is pace of play. No one can play this slow and be sharp. You get a half or full step slow.

Hate the loss, but that 12 or 13 pitch ab by Larnach, with tying run at 2nd, was pretty much why baseball is one good show.

Looks like top 3 teams in PAC-12 will (quite probably) lose tonight. Hopefully UCLA doesn't come back...if they don't, 5-1, 5-1 and 3-0 teams will lose to 1-2, 1-5 and 2-4 teams. Let a game in the standings slip out of our hands with too many HIDP, Balks, Walks, juggled balls, etc. |

Wow. 4 GDPs, and most frustrating is that 2 were with runners in scoring position to end innings, and 1 of the others with no out and your leadoff guy on base down 2 runs. 3 runners stranded in scoring position on inning-ending DPs was brutal, especially losing by 1 run to a team with an even more brutal rpi. 2nd - Armstrong on 0-1 count with 2 on to end inning 4th - Taylor on 3-2 count with bases loaded to end inning 5th - Jack on 2-2 count after 1-out walk to end inning after GS 8th - Gret on first pitch after leadoff single by Jack Gret got the first RBI, and did score after reaching on an error, but he must be pissed about his ABs in the 4th and 8th. |
