Is Gambrell hurt? Or are you suggesting Abel?

Is Gambrell hurt? Or are you suggesting Abel? Too many bases on balls today. Unless one dismisses this start to conditions, I can't imagine the coaching staff is not contimplating going a different direction.

The pitching on Sat and Sun are going to be up and down/inconsistent... staff affairs. There has been no one show they are capable of shutting down upper echelon teams so far. Sunday is of real concern if this team is going to challenge for a league title.
But, scoring 4 off the Sunday starter/staff of a team like UW is more concerning. There are going to be games that we'll need the run/inning type of scoring. Giving up a sweep at home to UW is not a great sign.
Weather in SLC is supposed to be much better than this weekend, but a team OSU should dominate in any weather.

Just a couple of obvious comments. Britton's FB can't be moving as he is getting drilled in most outings. Abel looks to have good stuff by is still thinking he can get away with the High Crap. It is not working. No question Sun. is huge problem.

Question for Utah is who starts Thursday. Luke will go Friday, Bryce on Saturday. If that is the case, it likely will not be Grant. Mulholland maybe? We've lived a good baseball life the last five years in general with our starting pitching. Watching the coaching staff make the right moves and coaching these young guys up in the next two months is going to be worth the price of admission.

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Sounds like four days to me if he starts on Thursday. If Luke was done pitching at 4 pm on Saturday and starts pitching again at 5 pm on Thursday that would be 5 days and 1 hour of rest by my reckoning. Yes, I know that is probably not the "customary" way of figuring it but I have found baseball folks don't necessarily make the best mathematicians.

Well, I totally forgot about the rain out - just thinking Friday/Sat/Sunday to Thu/Fri/Sat in my head.

Maybe I'll get wish by default. Brandon E. I am also hoping for Eisert. Gambrell on Monday against a decent Nevada team and the guys left standing for the Tuesday Nevada game.
