hawkeye - - great find.... Nice to see the Beavs up there with the name programs in the country ..... Baker might be the trump card here... Along with the Beavs' collection of top flight guards for the next 2 or 3 years -- all good paint players know they are doomed without teammates who can put the ball in their hands....
GO BEAVS !!

If the Beavers play well and show that they can play with anyone it will help in the recruitment of Kennedy. She needs to know how successful coach R. is with Post players and their development for possible play in the WNBA.

But if Rueck is after her, she must be special.

Someone will get her a tape of this game....Her family is savvy enough to know that flying across the country and beating Tennessee at Tennessee is big time...

Yes this was a big win for Rueck. In the article I listed above Kennedy states that she has a soft spot for Tenn. She has watch the Volunteers play all through her younger years. She would imagine herself playing for them. She has visited the U of T campus and was totally star struck and impressed with the Pat Summett center. After todays loss she maybe starting to rethink her desire to play for this coach. Maybe she moves Tenn down a spot or two and the Beavers up a spot or two on her list.
I think the Tenn. coach is now on the hot seat and her days at Tenn maybe numbered.
GO BEAVERS !!!!!!!!

I think they have reason to be pissed at her. The Lady Vols are definitely underperforming based on the high level of recruits. Compare that to Scott Rueck who has his players overachieve. Kennedy, if you are reading this, choose Oregon State and coach Rueck!!! Best coach in the Pac-12 and the best fan support the Pac-12! Oregon Ducks are already a deep team so you will get more playing time and benefit from the best coaching by playing for OSU!!!

And the most important information source - Twitter:
It's nice to see the logos of a bunch of teams we beat in the mix - let's beat them in this recruiting battle as well! Actually, I only hope Kennedy is discerning and can land at the school with the right fit for her.
(It is another remarkable sign of our rise to "be in the mix" on these highly rated recruits.....)
Go Beavers!

By all appearances it looks like she would fit a beaver uniform. I'm sure that she is aware of what Rueck and staff have been able to do with post players starting with skill sets less than hers.

My impression is that for the most part, the young women who select OSU usually are not those who have a list of six or seven of the "hot name schools"-U-Conn/N.D./Baylor/Louisville/Mississippi St. and Oregon (recent addition). It seems that OSU is seldom the final choice for them.
Those who choose OSU most often appear to have a different criteria in mind than just choosing the biggest hyped and "most trending now" university/team.
Obviously there are exceptions, clearly Destiny Slocum is one young lady who could have gone to any school she choose.

The Boneyard is just quoting DuckDuckGoose's comments from here. So, no new information. Our optimism is predicated on DDG's insight.

Agree with bennyskid.....Brown may sign with OSU - sure hope so....But thus far we have only an unverified claim from an unknown source... This doesn't make the claim false, just unsubstantiated. GO BEAVS !!
