Actually, the latest concern for me is "just because he's been cleared by 20 standards for eligibility doesn't mean that he's been cleared by the 21st". It feels like a lot of our guys have had issues like Christian Wallace, where they struggle in limbo forever. I almost gave up on Peko because of that rollercoaster.
For all of the challenges that 'furs contends with due to high standards, once Shaw gets the green light from the Farm that a prospect can be admitted there, grades are never an obstacle!

Pretty much the case for anyone admitted there unless the go Charles Manson on someone.

If you compare statistically the Nebraska and Oregon State offenses this past year they were actually about the same. Obviously there are a lot of other variables not taken into account, but the offensive scoring per game was 26.5 compared to 26.2. The defense for Nebraska was 23.9 per game. This type of defense was consistent with a pretty good year when Banker was coaching here. Looking at only this metric, (there is more information) it does seem kind of odd that Banker was the one that was fired this year.

What on earth is the point of some stupid production picking hats if you haven't actually decided lol? A lot of these kids face an insane amount of pressure to pick up a stupid hat. ESPN wants them to. Their friends want them to. It's a chance for all eyes to be on them. That one kid committed to Cal years back in a press conference at his school, and Cal had never heard of him. It's a ton of pressure to put on some kids.

If it's a matter of mom wanting to watch him play in person, I think we can solve this by sending her our future schedule, Nebraska's future schedule and a U.S. map. Boom. Case closed! Better get on the phone with mom GA!!!

Next year it is going to be full blown Riley-ball. He has a couple "Riley" QBs and several stud WRs in the mix. But based on the first two years you are right. Neither team is an explosive offense.

I agree the press is good. I will not ever not want to see that. But I want to see these kids making it into school. So far, when it is all said and done, GA is not pulling in any better recruits than Riley did. It sure FEELS that way. we go through recruiting, we get big commits from Shroud Thompson or Christian Wallace type guys. our rankings are high... then everbody goes Simi Kuli on us and nobody is on campus. The end results is shame sh!t different coach. I don't want to be a total wet blanket or anything. A commit is better than nothing!!! it gives us attention we need... But we need to be getting these kids on the field too. We haven't been.
