Curious if the UNLV and other MWC recommitment hinges on the league keeping its remaining members…
Dellinger also reporting that UConn has been approached for football only. Make of that what you will. lol.

Go get the Nevada schools RIGHT NOW UNLV committed to the MWC so that option is dead. Just read they are revisiting now that Utah State bolted so fingers crossed Sorry I'm on a plane. Others noted already |

Yeah, I've seen a couple of reports about UConn as a football-only add. I can't imagine what that would be all about. Maybe crossing fingers that basketball would eventually come or would become part of the deal if Gonzaga joins?

UNLV was committed as long as the MWC had eight. With USU leaving, it's down to seven and the Rebels are free to do whatever they want.
Pete Thamel reports UNLV administrators are meeting tonight. It's all over except the shouting. They are the 8th Pac-8 team and GU will be nine. Maybe one more in the mix, if we really want to reach the 9/10 mix Barnes was advocating.
A day that many felt was lost is going to turn into a resounding victory.

Stop and think about it.
Raiding the AAC failed.
You’re looking to spend $200MM to get basically the MWC.
That is an epic financial disaster.
The best hope of correcting this is merger and the PAC2 using (most of) the money to pad your budgets.
The AAC raid failed.
