Kinda feverish. Are you saying those 3 are gone for sure? I interpret the message as EVERYONE in this day and age, especially at Oregon State at this particular time, is "possibly gone". There are those that are definitely gone, and then everyone else. |

As far as the draft, I don't think Webber or Smith will get drafted (although, it's possible). Somebody might draft Mason based on potential upside. |

For sure gone: Bazanna, Hainline, MMD, and Kasper. Possibly gone: Smith, Weber, and Guerra. Seems like a lot of empty spots to fill but we are deep deep deep. We have 5 legit OF with Reeder, Macias, MMD, Turley and Kasper. I'd expect Krieg and Caraway to make strides and lock in the corners. Trosky likely lands at SS and either a portal guy, recruit or on roster guy like Santana or Peterson steps up at 2nd. Talt is another interesting one as he can play OF and is also a utility catcher. Your 5 outfielders includes Schrödinger’s MMD. Both gone and here. |

Is there a complete list not behind a pay wall? One name I saw that Mitch and crew might want to go after: COLE CRAMER, WASHINGTON STATE, 3B Not sure which of our infielders we will lose for sure, but a .360 infielder is always a good thing to have. Trosky to 2nd Cramer to 3rd perhaps? Hainline can put in a good word  Well........... there may be a problem with this thought.(Hope I heard wrong, but we shall see) What does this mean? I cant handle vague in this climate! |

Yeah, the sad thing about kids/players like those three is that there are far less rosters spots to fill. Most are wise enough to know that unless some drastic refinement/improvement occurred they are never headed to a MLB ballpark. But, with the reduction in MiLB teams/leagues many of these kids do not get the extra year(s) of playing ball. Even if at Rookie or short season it is a life experience that most have very fond memories. If some are truly dedicated to playing longer and have the right connections there are opportunities to play out of the country. Just not many great options without having some US pro ball experience. |

But, we also have a JC transfer coming. AJ Singer is completing his 2nd year at Iowa Western as their starting ss. He gave a verbal commitment last October.

All I know for sure Damien Martinez said many times he was definitely playing for the Beavs until he wasn't. The portal has turned everything into a major clusterf$$$.

Is Caraway not more of a SS by trade than a 3B? Thought when he committed he was listed as a SS and was just playing 3rd cause we had Hainline.
