I'm sure we're still a ways off of it, but what's the highest scoring game in beaver baseball history? Still 2 innings left and we have to get 6 outs to win this thing... We beat Chico St 36-12 in 1985, so not even close yet. Are you sure? We keep inching closer.

You can't score 20 runs without having a lot of baserunners. It is inevitable some are going to be LOB.

Let’s see. They can’t pitch, don’t play defense, bad on the bases and don’t put enough balls in play. Home runs must be the greatest deodorant ever. This team is a regional format has a razor thin margin.

Can Caraway play 1st? I like the way Trosky has been swinging it out of the 9 hole, and he plays a good 3rd base. Would be a shame to see him bumped out of the lineup or to not find a spot for Trent because of how he's been playing. Caraway is primarily a third baseman. His secondary position is short. Having said that, I remember Tyler Malone playing first in a pinch against Washington back in Omaha in 2018. I mean it couldn't be much worse right? Getting him in the lineup and allowing Micah/Dallas/Brady to DH and all stay in the lineup would be a pretty potent offense.

Judge Smails nailed the Chico State game. That is the most runs scored ever. I know that Oregon State was involved in a 47-run game, the 25-22 loss to UCLA in 2022. Oregon State lost that game to Portland back in 2006, 20-13. Oregon State lost to Washington 26-14 in 2004. Oregon State lost to Cal 19-13 back in 2003. The last time that Oregon State beat a team in a game in which 32+ runs were scored was against New Mexico, 18-16 also in 2003. The last time that Oregon State won a road game in which 32+ runs were scored was in Pullman, 22-21 in 2002.

This team is a regional format has a razor thin margin. I've come around on the can't pitch side of things lately. We have 6 or 7 arms I trust to some extent. If this team has to play more than 3 games I'm worried, but I think we actually set up in a Super OK if we can get to that point. Our bullpen depth is a big concern though.
