I'm sure we're still a ways off of it, but what's the highest scoring game in beaver baseball history? Still 2 innings left and we have to get 6 outs to win this thing... We beat Chico St 36-12 in 1985, so not even close yet. |

Let's see what the end of May holds before we make predictions about June. And let's see how many injured players can come back in time to contribute. If Caraway can work back in, we might have a 1st baseman. Or if Krieg works out his strikeout issues. If Jiminez could make it back, I think we'd be in a really good spot. Thought Jiminez had Tommy John? Don't think he's gonna be back till at least next year. I never heard definitively. When a player is out for injury (especially for baseball), I don't expect to learn anything, so I don't bother to look for the info. My bad. |

Thought Jiminez had Tommy John? Don't think he's gonna be back till at least next year. 100% right, he's done for 2024 for sure He had surgery a couple months ago. |

In my opinion we are not worthy of being one of the top 8 teams. Our offense would pass muster but our defense and especially pitching aren't good enough to be at that level. 8 ?, we are not a top 16 and are a prime candidate to go out at a regional |

No bullpen depth No first baseman This is going to bite us in the ass in June Can Caraway play 1st? I like the way Trosky has been swinging it out of the 9 hole, and he plays a good 3rd base. Would be a shame to see him bumped out of the lineup or to not find a spot for Trent because of how he's been playing. |

Having said that, I remember Tyler Malone playing first in a pinch against Washington back in Omaha in 2018. |
