Morrell was clearly not ready for this level on Saturday - and nothing has changed. I'm not sure I feel much better going to Hutch... he hasn't had it either. Would love for him to prove me wrong though. I agree, but Hutch has a lot more experience and may be able to rely upon that to help us out. |

In my opinion we are not worthy of being one of the top 8 teams. Our offense would pass muster but our defense and especially pitching aren't good enough to be at that level.

No bullpen depth No first baseman This is going to bite us in the ass in June Let's see what the end of May holds before we make predictions about June. And let's see how many injured players can come back in time to contribute. If Caraway can work back in, we might have a 1st baseman. Or if Krieg works out his strikeout issues. If Jiminez could make it back, I think we'd be in a really good spot. |
