I agree with your assessment of Keljo. He’s got a fastball, but lacks any sort of consistent, legit off speed pitch. And even his fastball command is hit and miss. I’m really hoping he takes a jump in the next year, because the potential is there 100%. Big, athletic, lefty, throws hard. Unfortunately, until he develops better command and better off speed, he will remain limited with how good he can be. Doesn't he have a pretty nasty breaking ball/slider thing? hitting off a guy like Keljo, you simply dismiss anything but his fastball until he proves he can consistently get a secondary pitch over. A slider would be good but a changeup would be better. Right now he is hard/hard so you can kinda gear for one speed. He’s a big guy with I assume big hands, usually a key to a good changeup. Guys like him who threw hard at a young age are often discouraged from developing secondary pitches by coaches who would rather see him just blow everyone away. A changeup is a feel and belief pitch and there are a hundred different grips, so what works for you is what works. Keljo may have to learn one on the fly.

Pitching and defense generally win games. This year it's going to have to be offense, offense, offense.
