I know I’m just bitching, but how is it possible that we live in the year 2024, we have a top 5 team in the country playing, and there isn’t even a single camera livestream available for us to watch the game? I know our conference is dying, but damn that’s just unacceptable to me. I work at a high school and even a lot of their games are live-streamed, and you’re telling me the pac 12 can’t get it done?
Sorry, rant over, I just love watching the Beavs.

Nelson is not a Friday guy... at least not yet... he has a big jump to make no matter his "stuff". Plus it eliminates one of the very few Lefties out of the pen. The only real positive he has shown this year is a 15:4 K:BB ratio. But, with only (4) appearances/(1) start up to now the rest is not promising:
4 APP... 9.1 IP... 14 H/6 XBH... 1.93 WHIP... .341 BAA... 4.82 ERA
In '23... 23 APP... 21.2 IP... 20H/6 XBH... 1.71 WHIP... .253 BAA... 5.40 ERA
His only start in '24 was vs CSUN... 3.0 IP... 56 pitches... 3BB/4K... I'll assume Mitch is going to go with multiple guys for short stints similar to that game as 56 pitches is a career high??

Guarantee every single SEC vs. SEC game is televised on a network. I pay for pac 12 network to watch Beaver football and Baseball, and they don’t even televise all the games. Glad to be done with that subscription after the spring. What’s playing on pac 12 Oregon or pac 12 Utah tonight? I’m guessing nothing relevant.

Just depends on how good he is at pounding the zone tonight.

Depends on your definition of relevant, I suppose.

He’s got a fastball, but lacks any sort of consistent, legit off speed pitch. And even his fastball command is hit and miss. I’m really hoping he takes a jump in the next year, because the potential is there 100%. Big, athletic, lefty, throws hard. Unfortunately, until he develops better command and better off speed, he will remain limited with how good he can be.

I forgot Oregon and Colorado were still in it, taking up the pac 12 Oregon and pac 12 Mountain channels. I’m not a big basketball fan so spaced that one.

From what I have gleaned from this board and those posters that "KNOW". Between our batters' strikeout rates AND Our pitchers' propensity for too many free passes (walks and hbp) I am hoping we can salvage 1 win out of the 3 game series. So far 12 strikeouts tonight. Sounds like some people here know something. Taking anything for granted in baseball is foolish.

We can still snuggle.
