They’ll be able to get a solid qb in the portal I think. De Laura, Leavitt, green or someone to compete with Ben next year. Maybe Montiel or Throckmorton develop as well. Throckmorton was a solid prospect out of high school. Doubt Ben is back next year. Has they eligibility but is already graduated and I think used this year as a graduate year.....He has medical school in his future..So either he sticks and gets another Master's degree, or he is off to Med School Assuming we keep most of our current team, and yeah, grab another quality qb or two, next year can be a good year. Our current guys are likely better than what we can get once the money runs out...So attract that qb or two that see this and can get us in CFP (or at least a shot better than their other offers) |

QB coaches do not draw up the game plan or call the plays that put a quarterback in position to succeed or fail. If a QB succeeds or fails, that's generally on the OC. Or, perhaps the 5-star was overrated, or he just went through the struggles most freshmen QBs do and would have succeeded with experience and maturation had he stuck it out. We'll see at his next stop. Maybe he loves Gundy and will follow him here? The last time a UCLA QB transferred to Corvegas, it worked out pretty well. 2006 Matt Moore MVP of the Sun Bowl vs Missouri after throwing for 356 yards and four touchdowns and rushing for one touchdown. The 4 passing TDs were a Sun Bowl record. It was the second-highest scoring game in the Sun Bowl's 73-year history. He was 5-for-7 for 55 yards on the winning drive, setting up a 2-point conversion to put the Beavers up 39–38 with 22 seconds left to play. |

USC, and Colorado, I fail to see how OSU's 2024 schedule could be weaker than that. Central Carolina is a community college. Coastal Carolina is a bowl team. Playing our opponent this year San Jose St. in Hawaii. Coastal Carolina has a very good QB in the portal that we are interested in. |

USC and Colorado would wreck the bottom half the the MWC and probably the rest of them in good games. Cal made a bowl, almost beat Auburn on the road and could beat any MWC team on a good day, again we struggled. I'll give you Furd, ASU and NC Central, they were all bad or just not there talent wise. NC Central was second in their league. |

He had like a 90 rating out of west line I think. Definitely someone to look at. Idk if Gunderson wants a running qb or if he puts much weight into tho. Curious what the offense is going to look like next year. |

Go back and look at the game thread. The one post of yours was great about Lindgren. Spot on. The offense should be better without him moving forward. Largely a bunch of Negative Nancies, otherwise. The game was dominated by a suffocating Bray defense. After three drives, San Diego State had no chance. It was like watching an octopus eating a crab in an aquarium. It might not have been the most beautiful thing in the world, but it was inevitable. |

Interesting to me, that we have some quality dudes in the portal, but none have signed with a new team yet. What does this tell us? They are shopping for the best deal?, they aren't in the bag for MSU?
