With the way college football is going how long til there are trades of players and cash between teams? Much like the NFL. The one difference between college and NFL football? The NFL has a spending cap. Trades? They don't need trades, because everyone is a free agent. The players control the movement between teams, so there's no need to compensate the team losing a player. This is the wild west. The ONLY restriction on players or their salaries is the 5-year-eligibility window. Heck, it wouldn't surprise me if QBs just put their names in the transfer portal explicitly to extract more $$ from their current team. |

College football... This sh!t just isn't fun anymore. I quit watching the NFL because it was all about the $$$, but at least they were dealing with contracts that limited the mess. The portal has now become the NFL on steroids and it has, and is, ruining what was a wonderful and fun filled pass time for fans and was instrumental in raising, maturing, and teaching sound ethics to young men. I'm to the point that college football has fallen to the level of "screw everyone, the fans, the school, teammates and coaches", it's all about MEEEEE!! Which sadly I see in society everyday, this ride is only starting to get ugly, you ain't seem nothing yet.. |

Ducks losing a couple WR .... This is just ridiculous... new guys popping up every minute on the trackers. They need to find a way to deal with this.... but it won't.

If Chiles is as good as many believe he is, we should expect him to land at a much higher profile school than MSU. I would not be surprised to see him land at Ohio State, U$C or an SEC school.

All the more reason I cheer for the name on the front, not the back. And why any donations are given to capital projects or direct program support, not NIL (OK I did donate $44 to NIL for Trent Bray). Not going to give money for an NIL payment to some guy who will bail on us anyways the second he thinks he's received a better offer.
There's no real long-term return on NIL money.

Bray had never called a defense prior to his hire and that's worked out very well. Gunderson has coached under some very successful coaches. |
