Will the State of Oregon let the turdbirds leave without the Beavers? Would Wasington State let the Huskies go without the Cougs? Are both states willing to cripple one of their institutions for the wants of the other school? How do you square this with alumni / voters / taxpayers? I think it's every school for themselves. The fuskies and the toilet seats dont care about their respective state mates

I was really hoping to see Aidan Chiles as a Beaver starting QB next year. Oh well. And why wouldn't you see Chiles next year? He's here, participated in Spring ball, and is ready to go in 3 1/2 weeks. When he signed with OSU, honoring his commitment, he knew USC and UCLA were killing the conference. So did everybody else in this year's freshman class. So did DJ and all the other transfers. The kids committing for 2024, which those following the recruiting section seem pretty high on? Every single one of them is aware of what's going on, and that when they get here, the 3 traitor schools will be gone. Good thing they're not reacting like some posters on this thread, or I'd be reading about a lot of them bailing. Haven't seen notice of that happening yet. I imagine the coaching staff has been reassuring them that they'll still be here come September, 2024. Perhaps they need to take some time to say that to you folks too. If this whole thing does, indeed, fall apart, we should thank our lucky stars that we got to play in a major conference for 100 years. One or two little things done differently a century ago, we would have been another Montana State or Georgia State all of our lifetimes. Then we might want to consider being grateful for what we still have, flip a final bird at those who destroyed the PAC, and get on with it. Go Beavs !

We were season ticket holders for years. Four tickets. It wasn’t expensive. I (me) could attend MAYBE half the games. I worked many (too many) weekends. Our wonderful Grands got involved (❤️) in all manner of Fall athletic endeavors, and unless I was able to find Beaver fans to give the tickets to, they sat empty from time to time. DeCarolis, and the INSTITUTION made it very clear that a winning football, and basketball team (men’s, at the time) was not THAT important, so…… I said….”f%#* it.” Actual, spoken words….. and declined to continue as STH. We missed it, but survived. 😉. The BDC era was the most successful in the more than 100 years of OSU football. He became AD in 2002. We went to bowl games in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2012 and 2013. We also built new 3/4 of a stadium.

Option 7
"I'll cross that bridge when I come to it".
No need to spin morbid worst case scenarios. As an OSU administrator, sure. But as a spectator/fan I don't see the point.
Just my personal opinion.

Also, you would be crippling Wazzu and OSU of repaying improvement bonds the respective STATES issued. So I sure hope the States care! On previous reply / comment...the Cal v fUCLA situation is different...at the time, Cal wasn't demoted from a P5 conference...and possibly losing $20-25M annually. Cal would be a member of the new P12...AND... received between $2-10M/yr from fUCLA as a "Berkeley Tax" ...that was the deal Cal Regents made for Bruin departure. I don't know what the final figure ending up being, or if it is a % of the annual Big10 share for the Bruins. whOregon is a state run and funded institution...and can NOT act autonomously.

Beavers have worst winning percentage and most loses all time in league history. We were basically the Washington generals for the Harlem Globetrotters during the 28 year losing record streak. If we have to go to the mountain west, so be it. The times they are a changing

You mean 10 traitor schools when all is said and done? We would do the same thing to survive as the other 8 schools minus Fucla and toejams the (two who started this mess). So you don't place any blame with the pac-12 office, 12 AD's and 12 school presidents. Larry Scott's and George K's bosses?
Our AD and our past President included. Everyone let them run the Pac-12 office fat , dumb and happy.

Though, Riley LEFT (wasn’t supported, to the EXTENT necessary). Basketball SUCKED (wasn’t supported). Baseball THRIVED!

All you guys need to do is pass a ballot measure, evening out television money between Oregon and Oregon State. And then you pass a corresponding ballot measure "taxing" every conference opponent that plays the University of Oregon in Eugene. I drafted ones up for the State of California that got 86ed off the board. 117,173 signatures to get on the Oregon Ballot. 156,231 signatures to make it a Constitutional Amendment.

Who get the Rose Bowl in Jan? This year? It's a CFP game this year......and next year.........and every year hereafter. The death of the BCS started this process. Once the Rose Bowl stopped being the Rose Bowl, the Pac-12's value as a conference started to dissipate. Couldn't get the Pac-12 Network in every house. And then the dopey Presidents hired George K. to drive this thing into the ground.
