Yeah, but that massey guy is a real douche. I don’t know anything about him personally but his methodology seems less biased/weighted against western teams. Me thinks someone missed the connection/joke??

Utah weekend update from Warren Nolan....assuming no other games played in baseball (obviously not the case...)...
- First, Beavs at 24 as I type this in LIVE RPI - Beaver WIN sneaks us up to 23 in RPI (it's basically no move in calc but Georgia is just ahead of us) - Beaver loss sends us all the way down to 36....
So, let's win!

Thank you Mr. Blue Sky. But what the f%#* does ELO have to do with anything. Don’t bring me down, you evil woman. I got this strange magic that I can’t get out of my head. I think I’m going to get to on my telephone line, call over the world and shine a little love. ELO, the band whose music aged as well as the comments on this board about Forrester's inability to get a clutch hit. Hard to believe they were more popular than Queen in the mid to late 70's. ELO is never out of style. More uptempo than Queen and the 70s was the age of disco, so that kind of music was more widely accepted than the rock of Queen and the like. Both were amazing bands, but each had their own vision of what music was. As for Forrester, I was very glad to eat crow last weekend. I'm ready to eat it this weekend, too. (I have a few recipes from all the times I've needed to eat it.) He has tons of talent and I think that when he's confident, it shows.

Mr. Blue Sky is still in movies and shows all the time. Hell it was in Super Mario which is still in theaters. Don't bring me down was in Dont Look up and a Ted lasso episode. I think acouple were in American Hustle. That's just off memory. Guardians of the Galaxy had it in the first 2 movies I think. An early episode of Dr. Who (2005--) used several of their tunes and got my boys (young at that time) loving "Don't Bring Me Down" and "Mr. Blue Sky."

So, let's win! RPI deep dive: Oregon State would pass Georgia with a win, but Tennessee @ Georgia should finish first. 1-1 in the second right now. Oregon State can pass Georgia, if Tennessee wins the series, or can pass Tennessee, if Georgia sweeps. Georgia and Tennessee both probably stay ahead of Oregon State with any other result. Dallas Baptist and Oklahoma State each plays a minefield game tonight against RPI poison Middle Tennessee State and East Tennessee State, respectively. Oregon State passes Dallas Baptist or Oklahoma State if either losses and Oregon State wins. Connecticut plays Seton Hall. If Seton Hall takes that series, Oregon State can pass Connecticut. Unlikely otherwise. Alabama hosts Vandy, and West Virginia hosts Oklahoma. Oregon State could pass either with a sweep, if Vandy or Oklahoma breaks out the brooms, as well.

Thanks for making my point. Yeah, your childish non-stop rants over Sabrina at uo are so mature...... You mean uowbb’s “Director of Program Culture”? That Sabrina? I’ve never “ranted over” her at all, let alone “non-stop”. I think she’s an outstanding player.

Unlikely otherwise. Alabama hosts Vandy, and West Virginia hosts Oklahoma. Oregon State could pass either with a sweep, if Vandy or Oklahoma breaks out the brooms, as well. A deeper deep RPI dive: Davis beat Cal Poly and Long Island beat Coppin State, and Oregon State is back in 25th. Flip the Cal Poly-Davis score around, and Oregon State is in 23rd in RPI. Flip the Coppin State-Long Island score around, and Oregon State is in 24th in RPI. Outside of Utah @ Oregon State, the most meaningful game for RPI purposes is California @ UCLA. California wins really help out Oregon State's RPI right now and should continue to do so even after Oregon State plays UCLA. The next-most-meaningful games is the Air Force @ Arizona game. Seattle @ New Mexico State and Fresno State @ Nevada are the next two. Seattle is currently up 1-0 in the second. The next-most meaningful games are Michigan @ Minnesota and BYU @ San Diego. The Gophers are up 4-0 in the bottom of the fifth right now.
