Nothing I need to say about the short jokes. They speak for themselves to the seriousness of those posters’ critiques. I was more upset about the word "short" the others used . The correct 2023 term is "vertically challenged" |

I am afraid that Beers and Gardiner will transfer out for more playing time with a better program. Don’t understand why Mannen and Aaron playing a lot Been waiting for change of lineup. I think people have tended to make too much out of Mannen's playing time, but Cal is not a good matchup for her and Rueck should know that. I think Mannen does the best she can and puts out a lot of effort. But honestly she is not a pac12 caliber starting guard. She just isn't. And there is no way she should be getting double the minutes of your two best players. |

Didn’t watch the game, for reasons I’ve offered before…. and glad I didn’t. Rueck has “lost some mojo,” because of one reason or ten, and he needs to humble himself and get it back. No excuse to play, who many consider to be the BEST team in the NCAA…… down to the wire…..on the road…… then LOSE to a mediocre Cal team. None. The talent on this team is sufficient. The “direction?” ?

Our two lead guards both just have a fatal flaw. TVO doesn’t have the quickness to just blow by people with her right hand, and her left hand just isn’t good enough of a counter yet. Bendu has the quickness, but the lack of respect for her jumpshot just kills your spacing, which is so tough when you are trying to get the ball inside. I think we are making things harder on ourselves with some lineup decisions, but especially offensively I think this is where our problems start.

Subbing in lesser players for a few minutes when (I surmise) you think you're going to win anyway can easily cost you 6-8 points.

Noelle may not have been the answer, but it is also pretty clear that the freshman guards simply aren't ready. The guard play needs to improve significantly next season.

Also, AJ would have REALLY helped this weekend, hope she can go Friday |

Agree on TVO and to an extent on Yeaney, but Yeaney might be the Beavers' best player right now and she has been hitting the occasional perimeter shot. But she has become very effective at driving to the basket for layins. It would help quite a bit if she had the knack to kick the ball out for open 3s but that assumes that someone is going to be open. The bigger problem is TVO is missing way too many shots. |

Agree with you on how Bendu has been playing, however the issue when running the offense is the spacing disruption when she’s not guarded outside the arc, especially on the high P&R. Defenders just go under and that adds to the lack of spacing in the paint for the bigs. Hopefully she can continue to get downhill and continue to make shots. It’s just frustrating because there are some good pieces on this team, just not sure they all fit together right. |

Kind of simple I think. If teams don't have to tightly guard our perimeter (when we are not shooting well from the arc, which is more likely this year and not the exception), then they can more-or-less close down our inside game, taking away our advantage. I don't see this changing any time soon this season. Go Beavs!

In a game we had trouble scoring, Gardiner gets just 17 minutes (and still scored 9 points). She only had 2 fouls. Help me understand why you wouldn’t play her 30 minutes. I do get the angst about Mannen playing 35 minutes since she’s referred to as a point guard….and only had 4 points w zero assists.
