This game was lost by playing players that could not maintain the lead. We kept going back to players who weren't skilled enough to keep us in the game. The biggest asset they had was attacking the basket because they could maneuver around mitrovic. Refs weren't fair and blew the whistle any time cal penatrated. This was a very serious game but Rueck stayed to much with the same core group. I bet AJ didn't even play but she has the best mid range game and a good defender. Wow I'm shocked we didn't win. Wow 7 losses does us in. Something has to change.beers would have dominated cal inside if allowed to start. Cal had no height why play mitrovic in that instance. This loss was lethal. SR won’t change lineup for coming up games. He kept same lineup after some bad losses which I was expecting Beers and Gardiner in as starter. Sounds like he doesn’t care about winning with 8 years reminding on his contract. Not happy with the coach. Also I think Mannen played way too much, should be a backup with limit playing time. |

Another horrible shooting game for Talia. She’s had so many poor shooting games during Pac-12 play. Hopefully she sticks around and will be a more efficient scorer next season.
Need Raegan to get back into form.

Total adherence to "his way" and complete inability and unwillingness to make sensible lineup adjustments. Also would be nice to see some plays actually run through Gardiner so she's not just standing out on the perimeter tossing up 3s. |

Since 2014 the lady beavs pac12 finish. 1st, 1st. 1st, 3rd, 3rd, 5th, 5th, 8th, currently 10th. Slip, slipping away. Different players. Different assistants. Same head coach. “lady beavs”? Fixed it. |

Just got screwed by the ref. Beers was calling a time out Beavs let the Cal players get around them on the missed free throw and they were able to scrum for the ball. Both Mit and Beers. Never got bodies on them. Not textbook blocking out. But Beavs only put 4 pts on the board in the last 5 minutes. That didn’t help. |

Scoring only 9 points in the 4th quarter won't get the job done in a game within 10 points. Like I have posted before, Rueck doesn't want to change his philosophy. He doesn't want to adapt his style to todays game. Also, like I posted before, don't be surprised to see more exits to the portal. I haven't seen anything, so far, that indicates Rueck is willing to change. Yep, 100 percent. Unfortunately. |

Our guard play simply just isn’t good enough. Cal was helping so much on the bigs and we just didn’t see the help. Really stinging loss.

This was a bad loss, not because Cal is a bad team (79 NET, had a 4 pt loss to Stanford), but because it was a game they had to have to move into postseason consideration. Not surprised this was a loss though, there’s no days off in conference and they just have no margin for error.

OK all you folks who say the season’s over - goodbye. No need for you to post anymore this season since to you there’s no reason to watch (other than to heckle Rueck, Mannen and Mitrovic).  As for me, I’ll continue to watch and cheer on this young FR/SO-heavy team. |

“lady beavs”? The men’s teams are not the “gentlemen beavs”. The women’s teams are not the “lady beavs”. OSU sports teams are simply “The Beavs” (or Beavers). You'll get over it I think yer the one who needs to get over it. Get it right. |
