Hoping that we are not looking past tonight's opponent. We barely beat them in OT last year (I think Kennedy grabbed the rebound out of their hands and put up a last second lay-in).

Kadi Sissoko missed USC's last game and was spotted on the sidelines with a splint on the middle finger of her (non-shooting) left hand. She's their leader in scoring, avg. minutes played and FG%, and 2nd in rebounds. A thread on the USC board initially suggested she was only held out for the one game as a precaution, but someone who is fairly knowledgeable indicated it was a broken finger and she may be "out for a period of time." It will be interesting to see if she's in the starting lineup and if so, how much she's affected by the injury. I suspect she'll give it a go but we'll see. |

Good research on that. It looks like their other scoring threat is 6'4" Rayah Marshall (#13). That should make for an interesting pairing with Raegan. They have a good record (10-2), but the only teams of merit that they've played are UCLA, Texas and California Baptist (I recall that they took us for a close ride last season).

As noted above, game is being shown on the Pac-12 Los Angeles Channel. Pac-12 Oregon is showing UCLA/uo. Both games have 6:00pm tip times. |

I'm not sure the Beavs have anyone who can stop Rayah Marshall. She's one of the better players in the Pac12. Keeping her off the boards will be a major factor. I like USC's backcourt, but I'm not sure they have jelled yet. I think this will be a tough game for the Beavs, and being at home should help a lot. I'd love to see the Beavs finally hitting their three's, and it may take that to get a win. Go Beavs!

It appears more and more certain at this point that there will probably be no Timea this year. Hopefully she will be ready for next year, although the way everything is kept so super secret these days, who knows!

Good starting lineup, but it's who plays the most minutes that counts. Nice for Martha to get the start in Pac12 play. She's handled everything well so far. Let's see if she can keep it up in Pac12 play.
