Wow. Gretler retiring? Dukart transfers. Hopefully they see the writing on the wall with Guerra being a dude at 3rd?..

As usual, Eggers provides some details that have not been widely reported. Great news on Ferrer coming back. With the influx of infielders, and with Gretler's academic journey complete...plus physical problems, it's good to see that he's set to move on. Memory will forever recall June 6, 2022, bottom of 7th against Vanderbilt, tied game = Matthew Gretler takes the Regional into his own hands. It's OUTTA HERE !

I've seen Cedillo play in high school versus C.V. and was impressed. Very nice stroke and can run. Was wondering why he wasn't being recruited out of high school. Guys who can hit and run like him will be in the mix somewhere. Saw Reeder on Tuesday versus the Knights. Hit a double down the left field line and then was picked off. Really like this recruiting class. Very talented group.

Wow. Gretler retiring? Dukart transfers. Hopefully they see the writing on the wall with Guerra being a dude at 3rd?.. Mason Guerra was a shortstop in high school, who pitched some. Hopefully, they make a decision about who will play where early in the season. You can put the pieces we have together several different ways.

So at this point Ferrer is the only real question mark? I am not sure that D.J. Carpenter has officially signed (at least I do not believe that it has been announced), but he is expected to. Geo Rivera, Jr., will probably sign as well, but I do not believe that it has been announced yet. About 46 hours and 24 minutes left for players who have not exhausted eligibility

Please tell me that I am misreading your sentence and connecting the two ideas in your first sentence in a cause-effect sort of way. But yes, we have some interesting pieces coming into the club! How many days until Surprise?

Carpenter has signed according to "sportrac.com" But it is not on the hand-to-God MLB sites that I follow. I don't understand why Carpenter would sign for $100,000, when the he should be able to negotiate for the full $125,000, so I would question the reliability of "sportrac.com" They had some other signings wrong (wrong amounts, things like that) earlier, so I am waiting for something that I would consider more official or at least something more reliable. If you have something more official than "sportrac.com" I invite you to post it. From everything that I have heard, he is planning to sign. But, from everything that I have heard, he has not yet.
