What a great player...for being on a roster with some future MLB guys, Andy played a big role in teams success. Filled in admirably for Madrigal when injured and of course there was an epic sacrifice bunt top of 9th against Arkansas. |

Armstrong also scored the fourth run on Rutschman's three-run double to make it 6-6 against North Carolina. And that was Armstrong's first appearance in a game in a month. Armstrong finished both the second North Carolina and Arkansas games filling in at third, Gretler covering first. |

Armstrong finished 4/4 with a double, a sacrifice bunt, two runs, and three RBIs. Armstrong was part of two 4-6-3 double-plays. The Sioux City Canaries blew a 5-2 lead and lost 13-6, thanks, in part, to the five runs that Armstrong was involved in. Tomorrow's game features the two best pitchers in the League, Texas' Ty Culbreth for the Canaries and Cal's Joey Matulovich for the Goldeyes. |

If you would have told me that in the year 2024 Kwan would have more home runs than Conforto or Larnach I'd say you're on crazy pills. |

Mason Guerra got his first professional hit last night. After going 0-16, he is now hitting .053 with 8 k's in 19 ab's at Augusta (A). He does have six walks so his OBP is .280.

With the 6/11 streak he's now up to .256 (11/43). He was struggling at .156 before with 17 Ks. Even High A is a huge adjustment from college ball. |

Kwan plays almost every day. Conforto and Larnach are platoon players. I would expect Kwan to have a better chance to have more homeruns in 2024. That, even though Kwan isn't considered a homerun hitter. |

Big day for the Beavers. Homeruns by Conforto, Rutschman, Meckler, Melton (2), Hainline had one last night and a double by Larnach.
