I believe they took 7 four years ago. Correct. McGwire, Woods, and Campisano all left, while Hebard, Ionescu, Giomi, and Yaeger all stayed. Yaeger might be done with a fifth year. She had chronic back problems and did not play much for them.

I'd bet money that Graves would happily boot some of his current players in a heartbeat to take another 3 or 4 players if he thought it would please money bags grandpa Nike and win a natty. I have zero respect for that crew, I would never assume that my kid was secure there if another option became available in ANY of their programs. The greed and arrogance is palatable on all levels. No recruits are safe if Graves thinks he can gain another great player, and would feel zip remorse booting a player down the road. Even better if he can poach one from Rueck..

I had forgotten about Stanford softball. The school punished those responsible, and the program suffered as a result. No one significant at uo was fired for their multiple violations that were certainly sanctioned by the head coaches of the programs that got caught.
I'm not even sure if sailing is an NCAA-sponsored sport. If so, I'd hope Navy wins every year.

Anddddd Sedona to Oregon... Isn't this somewhat of a good thing as now they don't have space for Clark or HVL?

I believe Morgan Yaeger might play another year then Grad transfer or retire with her bad back. I think Graves would be able to have a plan in place to make room for 1 of those 2 elite guards.

This could have a big impact on the future. The Ducks were already loaded with elite perimeter recruits, now they have the post players to go with it.

Agreed - and there I was rooting for Baylor last season to knock them out of the tournament, and I expect I will have to acquire more "strange" rooting interests in coming years to do the same. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" and all of that I guess. But I hope OSU continues to trot out a National Championship caliber team as well, and I am fine if things turn out like they did in baseball to date. Go Beavers!

I think this puts them at 14. 5 recruits + Prince + 2 Saballys + Yaeger + Chavez + Giomi + Ionescue + Boley + Hebard The Ducks current roster for 2019-2020 season shows 12 (including 3 new freshmen and the transfer Moore), so adding Prince means 13 players on the roster, all on scholarship. Oregonlive.com reporting she won't be eligible to play until 2020-2021 season. I suspect Oregon will apply for immediate eligibility for Prince however. With the Ducks losing 3 players (Ionescu, Hebard, Moore) after this season, but adding 5 new recruits and Prince (who will already on the roster for 2020-2021), their team will have used the maximum of 15 scholarships....unless Yaeger leaves early, quits, or transfers as some are speculating. Thus, as it stands at present, Oregon has no room for Van Lith or Clark in 2020-2021, unless Yaeger or Giomi leaves.

I am still amazed that Geomi is still with the program and has not yet transferred out. She is a much better player than the playing time she has been given reflects. She did redshirt one year due to injury so she could grad transfer her last season. She was a member of their winning 3x3 team this last season. Perhaps her plan was to stay one more season to win a Natty figuring she could then transfer her grad season.

My prediction - sucks will get waiver for Sedona to play this year, two players then relieved of their schollies and two more player spots magically open up.

Knowing Graves, knowing Oregon, I would say there is no way they will pass on HVL or CC if either show an interest in signing on the dotted line... Recruiting is a Darwinian deal - the weaker are always replaced by the stronger...Dominant programs always find a way to add strength...
Like it or not, Oregon is stacked and stockpiling..They are now assumed to be a national power for the foreseeable future...That's hard to disagree with.. Great Recruiting now becomes more important than ever to the Beavs...So also does the good health of Jelena Mitrovic and Andrea Aquino.....
If the Beavs land just ONE more prize prospect for 2020, I can see Stanford, Oregon and OSU in the next 5 years being to Women's basketball what Duke, North Carolina and Virginia are to Men's basketball.... GO BEAVS !!
