Just reassigned to New Hampshire in the AA Eastern League. New Hampshire cut Moore on Wednesday. Time to hang up the cleats and get on with his life.

Time to hang up the cleats and get on with his life. Yep, he's done moore or less. Andrew Moore in MLB: 64 IP.......1.18 WHIP, 4.7 SO/9 ip...1.2 BB/9 ip. Not bad. BUT: 16 HR in 64 IP....eh?....Maybe he needed 1 more effective pitch ?!

It seems like his curve and slider are effective, but, without a real major league fastball or change, it does not really matter.

And Matty gets the win with a scoreless 10th. M's score 3 in the 11th and Flexen gets the save. Seven in a row for Seattle.

The Twins won game five but lost 6-5 yesterday. Larnach is set to start his rehab with Fort Myers tomorrow. The Twins, Guardians, Blue Jays, and Orioles all went 1-1 over the last two games, so the standings are all the same with relation to the four. However, the Orioles are up 2-0 over the Guardians right now in the second. Two of the first three Orioles homered (not Adley). Kwan struck out. One Guardian got on on an infield single and the next on an error, but Vavra caught a ball to left to end the first inning. 3-0 Orioles. The Guardians are a game up on the Twins. The Blue Jays are 1.5 games in front of the Orioles, and the Orioles are 1.5 games in front of the Twins. The Guardians and Twins are tied atop the Central. The Jays are now 2.5 games in front of the Orioles, and the Orioles are 2.5 games in front of the Twins.

Gavin Logan has been promoted to High A Hillsboro- go and watch him play In the last two days, both D.J. Carpenter and Jake Pfennigs were promoted to Palm Beach and Stockton, respectively. (Who got the better end of that promotion?) Meckler is the only one still stuck in one of the CL leagues. He is doing well down there, too. I don't know what the issue is with, as to why he is still stuck there. Neither Cooper Hjerpe nor Will Frisch have pitched yet. Both may be done until Spring. Logan is the first 2022 draftee into A+ ball, right? If so, quite the accomplishment. For ex-Beavers, Troy Claunch was promoted from Glendale to A Kannapolis. D.J. Carpenter is hurt and will be out for the next couple of days at least. Will Frisch is officially out for the rest of the year. I should have been able to figure that out before today, but I figured it out today.

Lincoln and Sioux City finished tied for the final playoff spot, setting up a one-game playoff for the final spot in the playoffs. Verburg came on in the eighth with no outs and runners on the corners. Verburg only gave up a run from the runner on third and otherwise pitched a great eighth and ninth. That run that Verburg gave up, though, was Lincoln's run #10, and Lincoln won the game and the final playoff spot with a 10-1 win. It would appear that that result ends Verburg's first season in professional baseball.

Express (Rangers) - INF Trace Loehr Adv. A South Atlantic League: Jersey Shore Blue Claws (Phillies) - RHP Mick Abel A Carolina League: Downeast Wooden Ducks (Rangers) - SS Jayce Easley Rookie Arizona Complex League: (Cubs) RHP Dominic Hambley * Could not locate Kyle Froemke (Dodgers) ** If I missed anybody, post it. I believe that almost everything has been updated elsewhere, but Tyler Malone was recently activated from his injury. (He got hurt on June 1, 2022, and was out for more than two months.) Malone played a game in Peoria and a second at Camelback Ranch. After completing the two-game rehab, he was promoted to A+ Fort Wayne. Kevin Abel was out for 25 days after his July 15, 2022, start in Tampa. He pitched his first game last Tuesday, allowing four earned runs on five walks and a hit in 1.2 innings in a rather inauspicious return to A-ball. I don't remember it being reported, but Kyle Froemke was promoted to A Rancho Cucamonga 22 days ago. Mick Abel was promoted to AA Reading and is set to make his first start there on Saturday. Jayce Easley was promoted to the Hickory Crawdads back on May 12, 2022. Easley then got hurt on July 3, 2022, and played three games in Surprise back in July before rejoining Hickory 19 days ago. I guess that I never updated this, but Tyler Malone got promoted to AA San Antonio about three weeks ago. Malone has only been playing about twice a week, but he leads the team in OPS, just as many hits as walks, a tough out. San Antonio plays at Frisco tonight in game one of the Texas League South Division Series and then heads back to San Antonio for games two and three starting on Thursday. I believe that Malone is the only former Oregon State player on a team still alive in the AA Playoffs.
