Uo lost their 4th transfer today,and had 4 last year. It's something that happens at most schools. Sad to see her go...

Not surprised with return of Taylor and 2 HS All Americans coming in, I don’t see Brown win a starting position. Would be a good backup. She will be missed.

Didn't she call out the fans earlier this year? Gill might have contributed to this one. KB owns her decisions. No crack pot fan in the stands caused her to bail. She obviously didn’t like the experience of playing here. |

IMO better Brown than Jones as long as Jones can stay healthy. Brown was an interesting player, didn't want to play the five but didn't shoot it well enough to be the stretch four she wanted to be. She's a gifted passer and defender and can be very effective in the right system. In her two years at OSU she shot just 40% from the field (pretty underwhelming for a four/five).
At this point, we really need to get Jones healthy and keep her and Jelena on board. Assuming Taya leaves, maybe grab a transfer who plays PF and can help out Timea.

We'll miss her defense and rebounding 6.8 rpg. A very quick and agile 6'-6" inside presence. Less of a loss on the offensive end. 7.2 ppg, 40.2% from field. 25.6% from 3. |

OSU will greatly miss her. Just like Sasha. Next year's recruits have no idea what Pac12 competition is like.
There is no substitute for athletic size with conference experience.

Next woman up! A player's net contribution is a product of their offensive and defensive contributions. We could stand to lose a little of her defensive contribution if we could get better offensive production out of those minutes from that position. |
