Single to the pitcher
Walk
Single down the rf line to score a run
Fly out to move the guy on second to third
Sac Fly to score another run
Ground out to 2b
GCU 2, Beavs coming up.
Second straight game the beavs start down 2 before coming to bat.

This GCU team is better than any team we played in Arizona, and might be better than WSU too. I have been especially impressed with their ABs
LOTS of very hard hit balls yesterday, and batters are pretty patient.

Boyd back in the lineup, BTW, for those who were concerned abut him missing yesterdays game. Melton in the 2 hole again today. Seems like an odd place to put your best hitter.

Townsend throwing today - maybe Pfennings back this weekend? If he only gets a single inning then he should still be able to go Sunday... But Pfennigs being back would be GREAT! |

"Johnny Wholestaff" still picthing  Victor Quinn comes in to pitch the third inning. FB 93-96 mph supposedly, and a breaking ball, so just two picthes, but if you can control 93+ FB, you only need one other pitch |

Should have somebody depth that canb go 3+ at least. A bit weird at this point. Wondering with heavy rain forecast for Friday night there might already be a DH planned for Saturday or Sunday?? |

Victor Quinn a "shortie", only being 6'1"  First AB is walk, didn't make the batter work for it either Fly out Double, man on 2nd and 3rd Double, 2 men score, a couple inches away from being a HR. GCU 4, Beavs 0. Victor coming out...  |
