Thank you grad1973 for "fed to the lions /div]
An early frontrunner for quote of the portal year.
since I changed that I’m sure you will be disappointed. Some one you thrive on personal attacks! Wow... I thought he was just being humorous. If you think that was a "personal attack" you truly need to grow a pair of "loins". Geez

If Instagram followings mean anything -- it looks like Daniels may be headed to Arizona and Pili to Utah. The PAC-12 to PAC-12 transfer rate seems really high due to kids wanting to stay on the west coast and there being very few non-PAC-12 Power 5 options (though BYU is now one). I'll be interested to see who USC can get out of the portal. Sounds like they've been hosting quite a few visitors. I'm still hopeful the Beavs can get a point guard, an additional guard, and a forward/post. beaverwbb fan: I hope you're not correct about Daniels headed to Arizona. There is a lot of fight and energy in her game, plus good basketball talent. I think she would be a great addition to the Beaver roster.... I don't follow Instagram, so I really do appreciate those of you who keep us posted about things of interest to WBB fans... I have given my thanks here before, so think of this as an encouragement note to keep it up!!🏀 GO BEAVS!!

West Virginia got Blacksten from Colorado - may impact Krull’s decision to go there (I assume positively) Kylee is pretty big at 6'3 and I would consider her a forward which shouldn't be a negative for Krull to join with at WVU. I see that Maddie Krull's teammate at South Dakota, Kyah Watson has also decided to transfer to WVU. As much as I would really like to see Krull join the Beavs, I'm expecting her to announce for WVU any day now.......really hoping I am wrong though. I noticed today that Maddie and Savannah Samuel are social media friends. I don't think we can read anything positive into that.

Cavinder twins to Miami. I think that might be 20% basketball, 80% location to continue to build their brand.

Dang, this fall , we're going to be doing a lot of ..."didn't she play for ...." It will be interesting who does better at their new school and who is just the same, as long as they aren't playing us, best of luck to all of them.

Maddie is following Nebraska WBB, and has friended Jaz Shelley on social media. Maddie is from Nebraska, so perhaps she is headed home. A lot of transfers are headed to their home states this year.

Kemery Martin to Cal. PAC-12 shuffle continues. Curious, a lot of players we fans thought would be nice to see in the Beaver program are either not being recruited by the Beavs, or are not interested. I'm really interested in seeing what the Beavs end up doing. There are still a lot of good players available, but not a lot where there seems to be mutual interest. There will still be a few more enter the portal. As we saw with Bendu, SR does not show interest via social media, so there may be quite a few the Beavs are talking to and we won't find out until last minute. It's an exciting time.

I agree that Rueck really has his work cut out for him..... Yes, there are a lot of good players available, but it seems to me that the Beaver need a REALLY good player, and there seem to be very few of them..... I don't think we've had an impact transfer since Slocum, so it's not like they are that easy to find... Rueck has a lot of connections throughout the country, and a solid reputation as a coach who parents trust.....
But, I can't shake the feeling that, when you get right down to it, there just are not that many good players out there who have the skills to substantially improve our roster....Hope I'm wrong about that.
Has Daniels (from Cal) made her decision yet? She's one I'd like to see sign on. GO BEAVS!!

I think Yeaney substantially improves the roster, but Rueck does need to land another guard and probably a big if possible...I don't think he has to get star level players, but there should be plenty of available players who are capable of quality minutes..just a matter of getting them here

I am confident that SR will find players to keep the program competitive. The question is, can he bring in enough high-end players to make OSU a top 25 program that competes for conference titles again. The jury is still out on that question...
