I thought Pinto’s play was patchy at best. On May 1st it would be interesting to take the final list of all the portal players from the Pac-12 and give them a rating on one to five in skill set. Five being the biggest impact to a one lowest impact from the loss. Then take those numbers and add them together to get an average. After thinking about this maybe someone has a better way to measure impact for each Pac-12 team. My example is team A loses 3 players with a skill ranking of 5,3,3 =3.67 avg. and team B loses 5 players with a skill rankings of 1,1,4,4,3 = 2.6 avg.
But I can sort of see a big flaw in my weighting each teams loss. Anyone have a better way to measure impact of portal losses from each pac-12 school. Of course you could get fancy because you could lose a number of 5 or 6 players and gain 2 five skill rated ones from the portal and so on.

Would really like to see OSU lands USF transfer Elisa Pinzan. IMO, she’d be a huge difference maker at PG. Would pair nicely with Talia and AJ in the backcourt.
A few others who may be worth keeping an eye on: - Sarah Bates, Georgia Tech/UCSB - Shalexxus Aaron, Texas Southern/USC - Alissa Pili, USC - Jordyn Jenkins, USC - Kemery Martin, Utah - Brynna Maxwell, Utah Dalayah Daniels, Cal
Probably realistically need 2-3 guards, a center, and a forward at this point.
Ideally a starting PG, backup PG, backup 2, starting/backup 3, and then a 4 and 5.

I have to admit that Elisa Pinzan has the OSU rainbow three down pretty good.

Another potential: - Stephanie Visscher, a 6-0 Swedish guard from SFA who will appears to have entered the portal for her final season. Four year starter for a really good SFA program. Efficient player. Led them in PPG and SPG and was second in APG and RPG.

Elisa Pinzan would be a dream get. I've always thought she was vastly underrated. Not sure how many years of eligibility?

There are so many names out there I'm beginning to forget who has been mentioned. Has anyone mentioned UC Irvine's Kayla Williams or Chole Webb? Webb has better shooting percentages, but Kayla Williams is the team leading scorer. In 2021 she average 14.4ppg and 4.1apg as a true freshman. She was the Big West freshman of the year. She followed that up this season (her second freshman season) by averaging 15.4ppg and over 4apg. Decent but not great 3pt shooter, but what is impressive is how many times she gets to the free throw line, 113 in 20/21, and 123 in 21/22. Talia led the Beavs by getting to the line 89 times. She has 3 years to play. Would need to double check, but I think Webb has two years left.

I'll wait till someone actual signs on the dotted line. It's the only thing that counts for now.

Probably because it's tiring and useless complaining about who left the program, but talking about the possibilities of adding players gives hope that the world may not quite yet be coming to an end.
