It happens, our freshman pitcher throws strikes, plus Big West teams have talent.
I like that Kmatz struck out the next two hitters after the HR, though.
He better be careful with this Church guy though, nothing fat, especially after the stolen base.

These Irvine hitters sure foul off a lot of good pitches.
Its frustrating but that is what good hitters do.

Anteaters are giving Kmatz a little trouble. He's at 50 pitches and they all seem to have been thrown this inning.

Kmatz burned about 20 pitches on two batters.
When Kmatz is a junior the score is still 0-0.

One can definitely see the Kmatz potential. Rough inning, but he threw a lot of quality pitches.
