I miss having him ref the basketball games. He always kept things interesting. Yep, when he wasn’t too busy talking so that he missed foul calls. My favorite Tim hoops ref moment was a guy on the other team kept complaining nonstop about no calls, Tim finally stops the game and says “buddy, you’re playing in the lowest men’s league in Corvallis at Western View middle school. You really just aren’t very good. Please shut up and play.”

Richeys Market had a great team...Harold,Longtain,pinion,Opien,Tanseli,Kemp,Binns,Riley,etc. Won a state title then moved on to a tournament in Wyoming. 1978 or 1977. Led by lbcc manager Dick McLain. Yes...Tim is a piece of work lol

That was fun. Loved how the team punched back after taking one on the chin.

That was fun. Loved how the team punched back after taking one on the chin. Agreed. Look at the box score. Every frame UCI scored, there was a # under it in the Beavers half of the inning. Gotta be a little mentally demoralizing. I like the “nose to the grind stone”, “bow your neck” and any other type of dig down deep and compete old school saying you want to attach to this team. Keep chopping wood(with a chain saw sound thrown in for ftd🤣) and see where the season leads.

Wasn't Harold's brother Don a star RB and Baseball player at uo? Yep. Very athletic family. I pitched against Don Reynolds multiple times in HS.....Hands down to this day he was the best pure hitter with the quickest bat I've ever seen in HS....My sophomore year he turned on the first FB I threw him and deposited it over the CF fence over 400ft away....I never threw another FB over the plate to him ever....I gave him a steady diet of curveballs and sliders with only marginal success....at least he never hit another HR off of me!
