Lawson with a quality relief appearance already.
Cooper is obviously a quality starter. Kmatz is developing, but the possibility of quality is present. Lawson and Ferrer are giving me bull pen confidence. MitchV as a closer. Feeling better about the staff. Still need to close out today, but if Pfennigs gets healthy: fine team.

If I were going to change anything I would put TravisB at leadoff. Seems to get on base. Meckler at 2. Get em over guy. Then Boyd/ Melton after that depends on who is hotter. Right now Boyd looks like our beat hitter. The real question is who looses time between Wheeler, Donkey, Fuchs or Logan. Cause the Freshman Tanner Smith seems like hos bat must be in the lineup. |

Harold Reynolds is in the House. Hanging out with Wilson and the guy that isn't Parker. Pretty cool.... pretty cool day in Corvallis. Not many baseball people I like less than Harold Reynolds. He's a huge Duck fan and too old school in all his baseball thinking. |

Yeah. Youre right. I wasnt looking at stats. Thats just my gut. Bazzana seems to be more of a get on base guy via bunts. Soft contact. Walks. With ++ speed. Meckler has a little more gap to gap to score him from first + handles the bat well enough to get him over station to station.
I think any of the top 4 could hit 1-4 at any moment.
