I think I’ll withhold judgment until we play a good team, but so far, so good. Now would be a good time to make some kind of judgement. We’re still only 10 games into the season Maybe the Zags are better than I thought, but my post was more about our fans packing for Omaha a little too soon. |

We’re still only 10 games into the season Maybe the Zags are better than I thought, but my post was more about our fans packing for Omaha a little too soon. Plus, I'm only guessing, most make statements of "quality" based on Pac12 caliber opponents. The Zags in Surprise were bottom half of the Pac12 "good". Zags walked 15, gave up 22 runs in two games. My bet is OSU doesn't do that vs top half of Pac12. So, yep, Zags are ranked. Good for them. Doesn't change the level of play when OSU played them. Nor does it mean they'd be a top 5 Pac12 team facing that competition every week. Hopefully they keep winning so that the "flawed" RPI for OSU is helped. |
